Happy Women's Day!

Instead of honoring women just by saying, she's a mother, sister, daughter, and wife..

Or that she protects, raises and forgives..

I 'd like to say;

Do not place her on a pedestal,

From up there

she cannot stumble,

cannot break,

cannot confess that some days, her strength runs out.

From up there

she must always be graceful,

always be patient,

always be the quiet hero..

But she is only a mere human.

She can make mistakes,

She is tired some nights.

She is unsure some mornings.

She carries storms behind her smile

and hopes someone will notice.

Do not worship her strength

so much, that you forget her softness, her weakness,

Do not praise her resilience

so loudly, that she feels she must never fall.

Walk beside her..

See her..

not as a statue carved from perfection, but as a living, breathing heart

learning, breaking, healing, rising.

She does not need a pedestal.

She needs space

to be whole.

Happy Women's day to al the wonderful women out there!

This personal history is why I have such a genuine interest in supporting others today, as I’ve realized that when the…
