You would've never seen a Christmas tree more hideous than this in your life. But this Christmas tree will create the strongest core memory in my son's life.
The lil man is 12 now. He'll soon outgrow the story of Christmas. But when I'm gone, he will remember that his parents showed him the true spirit of Christmas. They were bleeding and falling apart into bits and pieces, but still his father took him out to a Christmas brunch. His mother stuck in a neck collar, held onto things to stand up and put these ornaments on the Christmas tree.
They showed him that Christmas is all about spreading the cheer and putting a smile on someone's face. Their Christmas meant seeing his eyes gleam and he shall go on to do the same for someone else and give them a reason to celebrate and a season to believe that there's still goodness in the world.. No matter what happened to you or how cruel the universe has been to you.. don't let the negativity change you.. you glow from inside and you are here to spread that magical light onto every life you'll ever touch.
