India, is now the second largest country with the highest number of Corona Virus cases. But this is not what the country or media is worried about.
The coverage of Sushant Singh Rajput’s case has now turned into propaganda. They want you to believe the viewpoint they are selling!
This case started with Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged suicide. This sparked a worldwide discussion about mental health and nepotism in Bollywood. The case was then handed over to CBI amidst rising pressure from citizens who refused to believe Sushant committed suicide. Neither did I.
Investigations further revealed that there is a drug cartel involvement in this case. It was also revealed that Sushant’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty purchased drugs. This is what we know until now.
Now let’s discuss the “facts” we know.
Rhea Chakraborty has not been charged yet and is remanded in judicial custody for 14 days to be questioned. But the media and the country has already concluded that it was Rhea Chakraborty who killed Sushant or abetted his suicide.
This is happening in the 21st century, in a country where living-in with a partner is not a crime. Rhea says she bought these drugs for her boyfriend and he consumed it. Use of illegal drugs in India is a crime. But if this is the reason Rhea has been arrested, shouldn’t you be arresting almost all of Bollywood?
I don’t know if Rhea is telling the truth or lying. But just purchasing drugs makes her a criminal? If you think the Media is fighting for Sushant, they are not! They are just running for material for their prime time show. I’m wondering how strong the girl must be to be able to still walk tall and come out in the open.
I repeat, I don’t know if Rhea is guilty of a crime or not, but what’s being done to her now is not justified. It’s absolutely unfair to pass your personal judgement until the scales of justice tip to any side! I have faith in our country’s judicial system and hope and pray the truth comes out. But until then, you cannot do this to a girl. Will you be satisfied if she kills herself too? Is that what you want?
I advocate mental health awareness and I do not support nepotism. But wouldn’t I be a hypocrite, if I ruin someone’s mental stability for another person’s justice? You must see the videos of how the media pounced on Rhea Chakraborty when she stepped out. Social distancing? Who cares about social distancing and Corona when you can get a bite of such sensational news!
It’s going to be a long wait until his grieving family and we fans get to know the real truth. But until then you do not have the right to crucify someone based on ideas and rumors flying around. If Rhea Chakraborty has in fact abetted the suicide by giving Sushant drugs and discommended medicines without his knowledge then she ought to face the wrath of the judicial system of our country. But until the truth is out, you and I have no right to feed on her like vultures!
